Slomo Sauna Terms & Conditions
Alcohol, nudity and smoking are not permitted in the sauna. Jewelry should be removed before entering the sauna to prevent burning.
All persons using the sauna do so at their own risk. If you have any reservations regarding sauna use, such as medical conditions, underlying health problems, the use of prescription drugs or pregnancy, it is essential that you consult your GP before making a booking.
Health and Safety Waiver for Sauna , Cold plunge & Ice Bath
When making a booking, you must complete our Health and Safety Waiver for Sauna, Cold plunge & Ice Bat, located in the booking process. In order to attend your appointment, this form must be completed.
Tapnell Farm Cold Water Swimming Health & Safety
If you are attending a session at Tapnell Farm and using the cold water facilities, it is your responsibility to ensure you have read, in full, the Cold Water Swimming Health and Safety Agreement.
Sauna etiquette must be adhered to at all times, time includes:
Sauna sessions of no longer than 20 mins at a time (we recommend 5-15 min session)
Following operators instructions on how to pour water onto hot rocks
Only pouring the provided ‘sauna water’ on hot rocks and nothing else
Entering and exiting sauna in a safe manner
Keeping access points clear to allow other users to exit safety and swiftly if needed
Remove shoes prior to entering the sauna and ensuring feet are clean
No touching any part of the stove
Sitting on a towel within the sauna and removing the towel out of the sauna when taking breaks
All persons using the ice bath, sea or river as a ‘cold plunge’ do so at their own risk.
It is mandatory for all persons using the cold plunge to first rinse off using the provided shower.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you are a capable swimmer and can handle being exposed to the cold temperatures and currents of sea, river or open water.
Always enter cold water feet first, gradually immersing the body and allowing for acclimatisation. Taking some deep exhales will help this process. Never jump or dive head first as the cold shock response can hinder even the most competent swimmer. Feel free to ask our Sauna Master to guide you through the process if you are new to cold water therapy.
If you are making a booking on behalf of a group or booking a private hire, it is your responsibility to make all users aware of these terms and conditions to ensure safe sauna practice.
The Slow Motion Sauna operators, reserve the right to refuse admission to intoxicated persons or for other reasons that may be deemed a health and safety risk. Refunds will not be offered to anyone refused admission.
Children under 16
Under 16’s are able to use the sauna on the proviso that a parent/guardian or adult family member remains present at all times during the sauna use and that the waiver form here is completed by said parent/guardian accepting full responsibility for the minor.
Under 16’s are NOT insured to use cold plunge, cold showers or ice baths etc.
Under 5’s are NOT insured to use Hot Tubs
